The heart of our cabinet door truly reflects the advanced engineering principles that have gone into the conception and realization of our product. The Contur door is fitted with an engineered molded expanded polypropylene (EPP) foam core. This exclusive patent pending feature allows our door’s front panel to ‘’float’’ within the door chassis. The end result is a panel that can absorb light impacts which greatly reduces the chance of door dings while also providing a lightweight method of maintaining our distinct contoured shape. This same revolutionary feature is also applied to our drawer panels.
Preserving our delicate environment is everybody’s concern, including ours. This is why we’ve made it our mission to build our cabinets using components that are 100% recyclable as well as use state-of-the-art manufacturing methods that greatly reduce our scrap rate. For example: Our cabinet doors are cut from sheet metal using a sophisticated laser cutting system. This process reduces typical high scrap levels while increasing production and efficiency. In addition, we paint all our cabinet components using advanced electrostatic powder-coat paint technology. Compared to regular lacquer and enamel liquid paint systems, this solvent-free process eliminates harmful emissions and fumes that would have normally been vented to the atmosphere. Lastly, our cabinets are made entirely from steel. This is something to seriously consider when investing your money in either a long-lasting metal storage cabinet system or, in a cabinet made entirely from wood and/or wood by-products.
